BOLLIYA FR B1 Aluminium Composite Panel is a Composite Panel made with a fire retardant core (FR) that can complies EN13501-1 to be classified as B s1 d0 grade. Due to the general LDPE core (low density polyethylene plastic core) is flammable so the general LDPE core composite panel is becoming less and less to be used for high rise building, and the FR B1 Aluminium Composite Panel is becoming more required to replace LDPE core.
The fire retardant core (FR B1 Core) of Bolliya Aluminium Composite Panel is a mixture of Aluminium Oxidize, Magnesium Oxidize and LDPE. The FR B1 Aluminium composite panels burn very slowly and won't release toxic smoke during fire accident.
It's much pretty depending on the building code of each countries, more and more countries have clearly put in the building codes that the facade cladding materials have to be fire retardant. For example in Australia, all facade cladding materials have to be fire retardant material, and in China for the FR B1 aluminium composite panel can be used for building lower than 50 meters. In those countries that yet to have such building code on fire regulation, for safety reasons, we still recommend building more than 3 floors to use FR B1 Aluminium composite panel.
BOLLIYA FR B1 composite panels are also available in copper composite panel, stainless steel composite panel and zinc composite panel.
